With last week's defeat resulting in us being knocked out of playoff contention, the boys were playing for pride... and that they did! Leaving it all out on the field, playing with passion on both sides of the ball, it was a performance that everyone at the club can be proud of, allowing us to finish the season on a high. PLAYER OF THE MATCH

Congratulations to Leon Atherton, who was voted All Golds' Player of the Match in our 58-16 victory against Wests Warriors on Saturday👏

Playing in the centres this week, Leon dominated carries coming out of yardage and really got us on the front foot at times, earning the PotM award, as voted by the Warriors team🔥

This season, we’ve teamed up with Thatchers Cider to sponsor our Player of the Match award across all 2026 All Golds and Golden Ferns fixtures 👊

With the junior season now drawing to a close, last Thursday after our final training session, we took the time to celebrate those who have pulled on the black and gold shirt this summer, a lot for the first time!🔥

“Another fantastic season of junior rugby league! We’ve seen incredible growth in both participation and performance across all of our boys’ and girls’ age groups.

A special mention and huge congratulations to our U16 boys, who made history by becoming the first English team to reach the Welsh Junior Rugby League Final.

We’re excited to continue building on this success, expand our squads across every age group, and make 2027 even bigger and better.

Bring on 2027! 💛🖤💪🏼”

And with that, we'd like to say a massive thank you to: All of the coaches for their time and knowledge, dedicated to help nurture the future of the All Golds and Golden Ferns. Every player who has trained or played for the club this season... And most importantly, to all of the parents who have supported the teams on the side lines, driven across the country (and bridge!) to get players where they needed to be and helped our coaches on game day, your support truly makes this club what it is!👏

After our defeat to Eastern Rhinos last week, we have unfortunately been eliminated from playoff contention. With this however, our season isn't quite over yet... The boys are looking forward to hosting Wests Warriors at LSC this weekend, to hopefully end our 2026 National Conference South season on a high🔥
