Made by Mystique, the heeling collar allows you to train your dog to heel, this can be done by holding the easy grip toggle so that the dog is close to you, then progressing so the toggle hangs down while your dog heels allowing you to easily grab the end if the dog strays.

This dynamic duo is made up of Adam Peace, Millroe Gundogs and Emma Stevens, Cunningshot Gundogs!
They’ve teamed up again, to join us for a second year and run the Burton-on-Trent based training day on Saturday 22nd August 2026. Adam and Emma are serious ambassadors for the next generation of handlers and hold regular sessions with a number of young handlers and juniors - including on their gundog training holidays they hold throughout the year.
We can’t wait to see what they’ve got in store for their day but if last year is anything to go by we know it will be a good one, full of learning and progress for all!

MEET OUR NEXT YOUNG HANDLERS DAY TRAINER!
Sam from Gladrock Gundogs will be hosting our Young Handlers day in North East Scotland on Saturday 22nd August. Sam has planned a fun and interactive day where young handlers will be able to work on their Gundog training from basic obedience to retrieving skills. There will be steadiness, handling, whistle work exercises and more to help build confidence in our young handlers and their dogs.
We are very excited to have Sam on board for the first time this year after interest in a Scottish location last year!

Welcome to our MEET THE TRAINER series to help you get to know our Young Handlers Day 2026 trainers! (Ages 6-17)
Jennifer at JT Dog Training has over 16 years’ experience training gundogs, puppies and family pets, and is passionate about helping dogs and their owners build strong, positive relationships. She competes in field trials and working tests, and also picks up regularly throughout the shooting season.
We’re thrilled to have Jennifer back with us for a second year and can’t wait to see what she has in store for the young handlers at the beautiful West Wycombe Estate on Saturday 22nd August.
