We’re giving Padel United players the chance to earn extra PDL Points through the PDL United App by backing a team in the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Another exciting step forward for padel in Essex. 🎾

PDL Padel United has officially secured planning permission for a brand-new outdoor padel court at Lord Butler Leisure Centre in Saffron Walden, in partnership with 1Life Leisure.

The new facility will be the first-ever padel court in Saffron Walden and the wider Uttlesford area, giving local players and families the opportunity to experience one of the UK’s fastest-growing sports closer to home.

The outdoor court is expected to open in August 2026 and will be available during the leisure centre’s normal opening hours, making padel more accessible than ever for the local community.

This marks another important milestone in the continued growth of padel across Essex, and we’re looking forward to sharing more details on bookings, pricing and the official opening date soon.
