Small group, for us, doesn’t mean “everyone does the same thing at the same time.” It means everyone in that room is working toward their thing… Luke’s just coaching four or five of them at once instead of one.
Progressing a squat here. Refining a hip hinge there. Someone building single-leg stability, someone else working on their squat depth.
Different cues, different loads, different focus… same hour, same coach, same energy in the room.
That’s the standard we hold ourselves to. Not “did everyone get a workout.” Did everyone get coached.

Got a few things coming up — bring a friend, come say hi. 👋
🏋️ Saturday Summer Session — Sat 29th, 10am
Our classic team training day. Group work, good energy, new faces very welcome.
🏃 Run Club at Gilda — Sun 30th
5k, run or walk options. Fair warning: the bakery afterwards might be the real reason to show up. Tristan’s confirmed he’ll mainly be there for that part.
⛳ Golf Day at The Cave — 13th, breakfast 9am, tee off 10am
Never played? Doesn’t matter. Come for the day out, stay for the laugh.
Fancy any of them? Message us directly and we’ll get you booked in.
“I don’t have time to train.”
Yeah, you do. You just don’t have a plan.
Pick a number of sessions a week you’ll actually stick to. Two you’ll keep is worth more than five you’ll quit on by week three.
Make the decision once, not every single day, relying on willpower to drag you through the door. Book it like an appointment. Something you’re actually committed to, not something you’re hoping you’ll feel like doing.
And let someone else plan the session. When you’re not stood there wondering what to do next, 60 minutes is more than enough.
We hold the plan. You just show up.

Nobody warns you about this decade.
You already know you’re supposed to lift weights. Bone density, muscle mass, you’ve heard it. What nobody tells you is why it’s suddenly harder to just decide to do it.
Here’s what we hear on the phone, over and over, from women in their 40s:
You’re not lazy. You’re not lacking discipline. You’re just tired in a way that’s hard to explain, because you’ve spent the day being mum, being the reliable one at work, being the person who holds everything together at home. And somewhere in all of that, you disappeared a bit.
Add hormonal changes into the mix, the sleep, the mood, the way your body just doesn’t respond the way it used to — and it’s not surprising that some days you feel more alone than you’d ever say out loud.
Then there’s the physical side nobody explains properly: less muscle means a slower metabolism. Not because you’re eating badly. Because your body is burning less, even when you’re doing everything “right.” That’s not a willpower problem. That’s just what happens without a plan to counter it.
So yes, lift weights. But not because an Instagram post told you to. Do it because it’s one of the only things that pushes back against all of it at once: the metabolism, the strength, the bone density, and, if you find the right place, an hour that’s actually just yours.
If any of this sounds like your Tuesday, send us a DM. No pitch, no pressure, just a conversation about where you’re at.

Beth thought weights weren’t for her.
Too intimidating. Too “for men, for younger people.” So she did what most people do, thought about it, and put it off.
Then put it off again.
The fear wasn’t really the weights. It was walking in and feeling watched.
That never happened. “It just now feels welcoming and easy and comfortable.”
Here’s the part worth hearing if you’re stuck where she was: she almost missed her own progress.
Because it doesn’t arrive all at once… it shows up in comments from other people before you notice it yourself.
“Someone will say, oh, you’ve lost some weight, or look how much you’re lifting now.”
Her advice, unfiltered: don’t wait for it to feel fast. Just stay consistent. The results happen… you just won’t be the first one to see them.
It’s part of her life now. She misses it when she doesn’t come.
How would you feel if your coach could give you this much attention, every session — without it being an awkward 1-2-1?
Big group classes can’t do it. Too many people, not enough eyes.
1-2-1 PT can do the attention part… but you lose the vibe. It’s just you, a coach, and a clock.
The way we coach is the blend: busy enough to feel like a proper gym, small enough that someone’s actually watching your knees, your hips, your tempo… every rep.
And the social side. You won’t get that in a 1-2-1 or a large class… Honestly, the only place you get it outside of here is the pub. 😂
This is what that actually sounds like, all session.
Joanna forgot her headphones. Luke’s solution? Personal live music. 🎤
This is what “individual attention” actually looks like at CTPT, sometimes it’s a bespoke program, sometimes it’s your coach serenading you mid-set because you left your AirPods at home.
Either way, nobody’s training alone here.
