🧠964,000 workers with work-related stress in 2024/25. Psychosocial risk is now 52% of all work-related ill health. And it's already a legal duty you might not be meeting.

This isn't an EU thing coming down the line. The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Management Regulations already require you to assess and control risks to workers' health, and health has never meant only the physical kind.
Ten years of guidance. Barely any progress. That's why Brussels is moving to binding law.

Your risk assessment must cover it: demands, control, support, relationships, role, change. If it doesn't, it's incomplete. Managers are your primary control — they shape workload and support. Train them to recognise the signs.

The organisations reading this are acting now. The ones waiting to be compelled are already behind.
