We locked in consistent strides, built rhythm, and broke his run-up down into 3 clear phases:
1️⃣ Build-Up Phase – smooth acceleration, tall posture, controlled momentum
2️⃣ Gather Phase – balanced coil, strong load-up, eyes locked on target
3️⃣ Delivery Phase – explosive drive through the crease, full energy transfer
Now he’s hitting the deck hard and getting serious carry through to the keeper.
Pace isn’t forced, it’s created through rhythm, structure and intent. 🔥🎯

Two brilliant days at Sophia Gardens 🏏
20 players each day and fully booked. Sorry to those I had to turn away this time. Kids travelled from clubs all across South Wales to be part of it, which says a lot. The energy, focus and attitude were top class. We covered fitness, fielding, plenty of work on the bowling machines, and finished with a match to top it all off, all delivered in a really professional environment with loads of learning and challenge.
Huge thanks to the team at Sophia Gardens for accommodating us, and to my coaching team for delivering such a high-quality experience. Proper cricket, done the right way. 👊
