British Cricket Academy (BCA) is a prestige cricket academy that is based in Dubai & Sharjah - UAE. We have a highly qualified coach (ECB Level 2) from the UK and coaches from around the UAE. Very simply, we grow cricketing talent, regardless of age or ability. Currently most members are students of all ages.....& MOST IMPORTANTLY we aim to make cricket fun whilst teaching the basics of any sport:

64 mph ➡️ 70 mph 🚀

This is why I love coaching fast bowlers.

A few weeks ago, this young man’s personal best was 64 mph. Today he hit 70 mph for the first time.

The exciting part isn’t the number itself. It’s what the number represents.

Most young bowlers have no idea what they’re truly capable of. They put limits on themselves long before they reach their potential. My job is to challenge those limits, refine the technique, build the physical qualities required, and create an environment where they can discover what they’re really capable of.

Every athlete has a ceiling.

The truth is, we don’t know where that ceiling is until we start pushing towards it.

70 mph today. The journey continues tomorrow.

Well done, young man. This is only the beginning. 👊🏽🔥🏏

Nathan came into the session wanting to bowl straighter at the stumps and make the batsman play more consistently.

A big focus was his alignment and how he moved through the crease.

Nathan is quite a knee-dominant bowler through his loading phase, carrying a lot of flex in the back leg from back foot contact into front foot contact. This was causing him to dip slightly and fall away, making it harder to stay aligned towards target consistently.

We worked on:
• Running in straighter
• Better crease alignment
• Head and shoulder position
• Staying connected through delivery
• Transferring energy directly towards the stumps

Once his body started travelling straighter towards target, his action became more repeatable and the ball naturally attacked the stumps more consistently 🎯.

Aryan’s been striking the ball beautifully lately. We’ve worked on progressing against both spin and pace, challenging him to adapt, think, and access different areas with intent. Some powerful hitting mixed with smart decision-making, exactly the balance you want to see. What stands out most is how well he responds to challenges and adjusts under pressure. 📈🏏.
