We’ve had some truly amazing Tennis Leaders over the years - young people who have gone on to achieve fantastic things both within tennis and beyond the sport 🎾

We’re excited to announce that our next Tennis Leaders Course will take place this July!

What is Tennis Leaders?
Tennis Leaders is an LTA-recognised course for juniors of comprehensive school age. Participants complete a short workshop with a qualified tutor, covering some of the basics of coaching and leadership within tennis.

Following the initial 3-hour course, Tennis Leaders can then volunteer on local club programmes, helping them develop valuable skills in:
✅ Communication
✅ Organisation
✅ Confidence & teamwork

Many of our Tennis Leaders volunteer with us as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award or Welsh Bacc, and lots go on to complete further coaching qualifications and badges.

The course is open to:
🎾 Junior members and coaching participants from all of our partner clubs who are of comprehensive school age.

Players from other clubs may also be invited if spaces remain available.

If you’re not currently playing with us, there’s no course running at your club, and you’d like to attend, speak to your coach first and then drop us an email to join the waiting list.

We’ve got sessions available for both primary school and secondary school ages, packed full of activity, learning, and fun.

All sessions include:

Our camps are open to both members and non-members, led by LTA qualified coaches, with all equipment provided.

Whether your child is picking up a racket for the first time or already loves their tennis, these sessions are a brilliant way to stay active and have fun over the holidays 🙌

Another busy weekend competing for our junior members, alongside our thriving Saturday tennis programme. Great to see so many players out on court!

🎾 Well done to Hugo, who crossed the border to compete in Wiltshire and went undefeated in his 8U match play event-brilliant effort!
🎾 A big well done to Milo, who was also in 9U action across the border this weekend in Oxtalls, Gloucester.

There’s still time to book a place on our Kids Easter Tennis Camps – but not for long!

We have two options running both weeks with Coach Ewan and our wonderful Assistants:

- Youth Camps for ages 6-11 running Tuesday and Thursday mornings
- Junior Camps for ages 11-16 running Tuesday afternoons

Our camps are open to both new and regular players, including non-members, so feel free to invite friends along.

Each session includes:

- Tennis coaching with LTA-qualified coaches
- Fun games and activities
- All equipment provided

There’s also a generous discount for club members, plus an additional sibling discount when booking more than one child.

Three of our Superstar Mini Red players were over in Penarth today competing in a Wales local tour event – and what a fantastic job they did!

A huge congratulations to Daryl, Hugo and Audrey (not pictured), who all played some brilliant tennis and did us proud as always. 👏

They’re part of a fantastic group of young players coming through, all actively competing on the tournament circuit and representing us on the South Wales county scene.
