Archie Gray & Ollie Page finish runners-up in the U18 Doubles at the Lexus Junior National Championships!

The Welsh duo were in outstanding form all week, powering through the doubles draw against some of GB’s top U18 players to reach the final. Both Archie and Ollie also impressed in the singles, with each reaching the quarter-final stage.

Huge well done to both on a fantastic week of tennis.

North & South Wales County Championships 2026 Entries Now Open!

Taking place Sunday 24th – Saturday 30th May, the County Championships are open to players from 8U through to Open Age Group (Singles & Doubles). It’s a fantastic event for players of all levels.

South Wales - Hosted at Dinas Powys Lawn Tennis Club, refereed by Tennis Wales Official of the Year, Charlotte Williams.

North Wales - Hosted at Wrexham Tennis & Padel Centre , refereed by last year’s Official of the Year, Tcherina Vaughan-Griffiths.

Fletcher Davies wins the doubles at the Lexus Junior International Wrexham!

Fletcher had a brilliant week at the Tennis Europe event in Wrexham, lifting the doubles title alongside partner Sebastian Brock. He also put together a fantastic run in singles, finishing as a finalist.

Emma Ketler crowned Doubles Champion at the ITF J30 Accra in Ghana!

Emma enjoyed a fantastic week on the African continent, claiming the doubles title alongside German partner Liv Windschall.

She also put in a strong singles performance, reaching the quarter-finals.

Schools across Wales can sign up to the FAGE LTA Youth Schools programme and complete the free online or in-person training to receive a £250 voucher for your school.

Your voucher can be used for:
• Tennis equipment for your school
• 10 hours of coaching with an LTA Accredited Coach

The programme includes everything you need to confidently deliver tennis in PE lessons.

Evie Pritchard wins the Doubles Title at the U14 Tennis Europe event in Belfast!

Evie put in a fantastic performance alongside fellow Brit Allegra Grace Sophia Sola.
The pair played brilliantly together, taking out both the No.3 and No.4 seeds on their way to the title.

Congratulations to both players on a great tournament!

Congratulations to Niall Pickerd-Barua on winning the U16 Boys’ Doubles at the Lexus Junior National Championships, alongside partner Eric Lorimer!

The pair had a fantastic week, not dropping a set throughout the tournament. The event brings together some of the best U16 players from across the UK, making this an outstanding achievement.

Niall will go again in the U18 competition next week

Tennis Wales Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The Tie Break Fund, which supports programmes helping underrepresented groups access tennis and padel, is back for its third year. Grants of up to £7,000 are available to help your project make a meaningful impact in your community.

The deadline for all applications is 5pm, Friday 17th April.
