Sometimes it’s learning a brand new step or moving up to the next grade, but often it’s the smaller improvements that show how far a dancer has come. It might be:

Holding a balance for a little longer than you did last week
Remembering a correction without being reminded
Picking up choreography more quickly
Finding the confidence to dance without checking what everyone else is doing
Or finally understanding something that has taken weeks to click 🩰

Strong technique takes time and consistency, and our teachers pay close attention in every class so each pupil understands what to work on next.

We’ll always be there to encourage you, push you that little bit further and help you keep developing your love of ballet 🙌

Dancers, what are you working hard to improve right now? 👇

Some children are ready and excited to begin ballet from a young age, while others need a little more time before they feel comfortable joining a class - there really isn’t a perfect age to start!

Our Pre-School Ballet class welcomes children from age three and introduces them to dance through music, stories and movement. If your child is older when they decide they’d like to try ballet, that’s absolutely fine too.

We have classes for children of different ages and stages, and they’re always welcome to visit the studio and meet Rachel beforehand if it would make that first class feel a little easier.

We want them to feel part of the class and excited to come back each week 🩵

If your little one isn’t three yet, you can add them to our waiting list through our website, and we’ll be in touch when they’re old enough to join us…

Parents, how old was your child when they first started dancing? 👇

There’s nothing better than that post-ballet feeling! 🩰

You’ve moved your whole body, built strength and spent time focusing on something you love.

For children, ballet is a chance to use their energy, grow in confidence and enjoy moving alongside their friends 👯‍♀️

For adults, it can be that much needed hour where you can switch off, take time out for you and leave the studio feeling brighter than when you walked in.

Of course the physical benefits of ballet are brilliant! Strength, flexibility and balance to name a few 🤸‍♀️

But that feeling after a class when you’ve pushed yourself a bit further than you thought you could and walked away proud of what you achieved…

That's what keeps us all coming back.
