🏉💛🖤 FULL-TIME AT LORDSWOOD RFC 🖤💛🏉

Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be for Lordswood RFC on Saturday as we went down to Beccehamians RFC after an incredible battle that went right down to the final stages.

For 80 minutes, both teams left absolutely everything out there. It was competitive, physical, exciting and, most importantly, played in the right spirit. Huge respect to both sides for putting on one hell of a game of rugby!👏🏉

Tonight, Lordswood RFC is opening its doors to players looking for a new challenge, a fresh start, or simply a club they can call home.

While our Senior Men’s Team and Lordswood Knights Colts (U16s-U18s) will be training alongside each other, each squad will have its own dedicated session, coaches and focus—creating the perfect environment for players to develop at every stage of their rugby journey.

💛 Senior Men’s Team

Whether you’ve played for years, taken a break from rugby, or are thinking about trying the sport for the very first time, there’s a place for you. Train hard, compete on Saturdays, and become part of a fantastic group both on and off the pitch.

Ready to take the next step? Our Colts programme is all about developing confident, skilled players and preparing them for senior rugby, all while enjoying the game with teammates who share your ambition.

Our men’s training takes place every Tuesday & Thursday, 19:30–21:00 at ME5 8YE, and everyone is welcome.

Whether you’ve played rugby for years, haven’t picked up a ball since school, or have never played before, there’s a place for you here. No need to be the fittest, fastest or strongest — just bring yourself and be willing to get involved.

Expect a good session, plenty of laughs, a bit of healthy competition and, of course, the usual rugby banter 😂💪

The wait is finally over… Lordswood RFC are back!🔥

Today, we make the short trip to Cliffe Crusaders for our first run out of the new season, with kick-off at 14:00.

A massive thank you and huge respect to Cliffe Crusaders for welcoming us and getting the season underway with us🤝🏉 Whatever happens on the pitch, it’s brilliant to see two clubs getting out there, putting the work in and doing what we all love — playing rugby!

But make no mistake… we’re bringing the Lordswood spirit!😤💛🖤

For the players, this is the first chance to put all those weeks of training into action. For the coaches, it’s the first look at what this group can do and for everyone behind the scenes, it’s the start of another season of building something we can all be proud of💪

So if you’re free this afternoon, get yourselves down to Cliffe, get behind the boys and make yourselves heard!📣
