We're looking for a Poolside Assistant to join the team at Jenkins Swim Studio!

📍 Kingsditch Industrial Estate, Cheltenham

🕒 Regular weekly hours:
• Tuesday 3.45pm–6.45pm
• Wednesday 3.45pm–6.45pm
• Friday 3.45pm–6.45pm

➕ Additional cover shifts available

Your role will include:
💦 Welcoming swimmers and families
📝 Taking lesson registers
🏊 Supporting our teachers poolside
✨ Helping keep the studio clean and tidy
😊 Creating a warm and friendly experience for our customers

No swimming qualifications are required, although experience working with children or in a customer-facing role would be an advantage.

🌊 Adult & Child Swimming Lessons 🌊

We’re so excited to be launching our brand new Adult & Child classes at Jenkins Swim Studio this April 💙

Our lessons are calm, gentle and completely child-led, designed to help little ones build confidence in the water through bonding, play, copying and exploration in a relaxed environment.

We don’t believe in forced submersion — instead we focus on creating positive early experiences and a lifelong love of the water ✨

💗 £15.50 per lesson
💗 Small, supportive classes
💗 Warm 31° pool
💗 Lessons for ages 2 months – 3 years

Current class times:

Tuesdays
• 12:30 – Waves (2–3 years)
• 1:00 – Splashes (1–2 years)
• 1:30 – Bubbles (6–12 months)
• 2:00 – Ripples (2–6 months)

Wednesdays
• 12:30 – Bubbles (6–12 months)
• 1:00 – Splashes (1–2 years)
• 1:30 – Waves (2–3 years)

Thursdays
• 11:00 – Ripples (2–6 months)
• 11:30 – Bubbles (6–12 months)
• 12:00 – Splashes (1–2 years)
• 12:30 – Waves (2–3 years)

Fridays
• 11:00 – Waves (2–3 years)

This role would suit someone friendly, reliable and confident working around children in a busy swim school environment.

Duties include: • Supporting swimmers and teachers poolside
• Helping classes run smoothly
• Cleaning and maintaining high hygiene standards around the studio
• Welcoming families and creating a positive environment
• General poolside support

Experience around children or swimming is helpful but personality, reliability and a strong work ethic are most important.

Just a little reminder for our Adult & Child lessons 💦
To help keep our pool clean, safe and hygienic for everyone, we follow a double nappy policy for all little ones who aren’t fully toilet trained.

This means:
A swim nappy (reusable or disposable)
plus a snug neoprene cover worn over the top
It might feel like a small thing, but it makes a big difference to keeping our water lovely for all our families 🤍

On Sunday I actually did something for me ✨ We all know how busy life gets. The to-do lists grow, the days blur into one, and somehow we’re always last on our own priority list. But this Sunday, I carved out time just for myself and it was pure magic. 💫 I went to the most incredible floating sound bath at @jenkins_swim_studio hosted by the lovely @ellistore_wellbeing — and honestly, it was the best one I’ve ever experienced. Every single detail had been thought about… from beautifully soft sheepskins to lie on, cosy cushions, fluffy blankets and socks, right through to a calming peppermint tea and a sweet treat to finish. It wasn’t just a session, it was an experience. If you’re anything like me and struggle to switch off, I promise you… you will. The gentle vibrations wash over you and everything just floats away. Stress, tension, racing thoughts — gone. You’re left feeling completely relaxed, grounded and revived. 🌊✨ All I’m here to say really is: try it. Book it. Thank me later. Oh and you won’t fall in!😄 The next one is on the 11th of April and I already know spaces go quickly — and yes, I’ll absolutely be there 😆 We all deserve the break. And honestly?
