🌟CATCH UP SESSIONS! 🌟

We know that family life doesn't always go to plan. Sometimes, missing a class cannot be helped, but don't worry - if you miss a Tumble Tots session, you may be able to join another class during the same term (subject to availability).

🌟Stage, not age!🌟

At Tumble Tots, our programme is built on progressions, so children move at their own pace from one stage to the next.

🔴 6 Months - Walking:
The equipment is laid out with no route at all. On purpose - so they can explore it their own way.

🟡 Walking - 2 Years:
It becomes a circuit. Learning to follow it from one piece to the next is the work.

🔴 2 - 3 Years:
Four stations - climbing, balance, agility and co-ordination. The class splits into trains and they take their turn.

🟡 3 Years - School Age:
The same class, but independent from the parent.

Four stages. Six months to school age. Wherever they are, there's a stage ready for them. If you would like to discuss your little ones progression, or whether they are ready to move up, please drop me a message or see me in classes. ❤️💛

🌟 SPOTLIGHT ON FORWARD ROLLS! 🌟

We love to practice forward rolls at Tumble Tots; the past two weeks we've been using our barrel to help introduce the technique. We then develop our Tots' skills until they can do it independently on the mat.

But what are the benefits of a roly poly?

🔴 Activates the tummy muscles and stabilises the spine, developing the child’s core strength and balance.
🟡 Helps with spacial orientation which builds the foundation for reading and writing.
🔴 Develops coordination skills which are used in every day tasks such as climbing the stairs.
🟡 Builds confidence and gives children a sense of pride and achievement.
🔴 ... It's just LOTS of fun!! 😂
