Jess & Taz are “filming Ceroc for the world to see, la la la…” 🎶

Yes, despite the ridiculously cheesy earworm of a track, which was created on the spot for our videographer, this is actually a great little move for testing your lead and follow

Follows, when you feel that block, the challenge is to stay exactly where you are. Don’t anticipate the next move. Wait until you feel the lead away, then make your exit.

A lovely one for testing connection! Enjoy!

Twist, turn and make it smooooooth with Tim & Lyndsey and this Dervish variation.

Leads, the secret is in the turn. Stay on the spot, keep it controlled and let your body do the leading. Less arm, more body = a much smoother ride for your follow.

Give this one a go on the dancefloor!💃

WARNING: Ceroc may cause…
⚠️ Random dancing in the kitchen
⚠️ Hearing a song and immediately thinking, “Ooh, I could dance to this”
⚠️ A sudden increase in your social life
⚠️ Knowing far too many people called Dave, Steve and Sarah
⚠️ Losing track of what day it is, but knowing EXACTLY which night is Ceroc night
⚠️ Saying “just one more dance” approximately seven times
⚠️ Becoming suspiciously happy on a school night
⚠️ Possible long-term side effects include new friends, better moves and an alarming number of dance shoes.

Proceed with caution. 😏

We talk a lot about keeping physically fit… but what about your social fitness?

Just like muscles, our confidence around other people can get a little rusty when we don’t use it.
Meeting new people. Starting conversations. Having a laugh. Feeling comfortable walking into a room where you might not know everyone. Those things get easier when we have regular opportunities to do them.

And that’s something a weekly Ceroc class gives you almost without you noticing.

You turn up to dance, but along the way, you’re chatting, connecting, meeting different people and becoming part of a community.

No awkward networking. No pressure to be the life and soul of the party.

Just music, movement and a room full of people doing the same thing.

So perhaps Ceroc isn’t just helping to keep us physically active.

Maybe it’s keeping our social fitness in pretty good shape, too. 🧡
