*UPDATE*
Hopefully we have seen the last of the heatwaves and the rain making an appearance is a welcomed relief 🤞🏽
It has been the toughest summer I can recall, and a big thankyou goes out to my Greenkeeping team, who have tirelessly been handwatering on a daily basis for the past 2 months 🚿
With limited water available it was essential that we did this to keep the greens good and prevent them from burning out ⛳️
The greens have come on leaps and bounds over the past week, and we have now been able to get the mowers out on the courses.
More bunkers have been topped up this week, and the remaining bunkers will be filled shortly.
The course will flourish over the next 2 months 🏌🏽♂️
MAINTENANCE WEEK
We are doing our bi-annual maintenance of the greens starting on monday 7th September, and will hopefully be all done by the 9th.
They will be hollow cored, sanded, seeded and fertilised.
This is essential work to keep the greens in tip top condition throughout the year, and to prepare for the harder months.
