Not gonna lie the result stings after being 1 up at Half time which was in truth against the run of play.
My lads showed their class in their behaviour on and off the pitch, It takes character to not just win well but lose well also.
The message after is clear “ have to be better than that”. Individually today way below standards, Physically shy around the majority of the pitch and Tactically just shut off. Pretty much gifting each goal when we was in a huge battle already and couldn’t afford a slip up.
Special mention to the back line, for the second week running was under constant pressure but dealt with it as a group, the communication and organisation to play the line they did was a huge plus.
⭐️ MVP
Cameron, a huge clean sheet for his confidence, confidently and commandingly dealt with everything that came into the area, even got a run out up top later on.

Disappointing to come away on the wrong side of the result, but a really good learning experience for the lads. The conditions made it difficult to play the football we wanted and, ultimately, we didn’t adapt to the game well enough - myself included. There were still positives and some good individual performances, but we needed that little bit more collectively to find a way to get a result. We’ll take it on the chin, learn from it and get back on the training pitch ready to put things right.
⭐️ MVP- Liam B
Liam led by example and demonstrated exactly the work rate and attitude we'd spoken about before the game.
He was a real menace without the ball, worked tirelessly to win it back, got stuck into tackles and showed genuine desire to try and get us back into the game. When he had the ball, he was positive and looked to get us playing forwards.
A performance full of effort, attitude and commitment 👏
