A massive well done to Ollie Daniels and Heath Tatum-Morris on making their 1st XV debuts last weekend away at Dagenham. 🔵⚪️

Both of them are a great example of the pathway we’re building at Mersea Island RFC, giving our Colts the opportunity to step up and experience senior rugby.

𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇 🏆

Your 1st XV Mini Cab Services player of the match was Carter who was outstanding with his game management against Dagenham, leading from the front and helping organise the team in a big win on the road.

Your TG Coaches Rhinos player of the match was Harry who was immense for the Rhinos, causing the opposition’s back line problems throughout and putting in a huge performance.

Well done to both boys — fully deserved! 🔵⚪️

𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊𝐄𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃-𝐔𝐏 🏉

The 1st XV put in a strong performance on the road against Dagenham Rugby Club securing a valuable 5 points.

The Rhinos also put in a great shift at Fortress Glebe against a physical Bury St Edmunds Rugby Union Football Club side, showing some great rugby throughout.

A rest week next weekend, then we go again! 🔵⚪️

𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊𝐄𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃-𝐔𝐏 🏉

The 1st XV went down to a strong Westcliff side in their first game back in the Essex leagues. Despite the result, there were plenty of opportunities created and valuable lessons to take forward into the next fixture.

The Rhinos produced an outstanding performance against Colchester, getting their season off to a great start.
Unfortunately, the Colts fell short against Shelford, but will take plenty from the game as they look ahead to next weekend.

Well done to all three sides for their efforts! 🔵⚪️

𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇 🏆

An awesome display from Todd in what was a hard-fought battle against Westcliff 2’s. Unfortunately, the 1st XV fell just short on the day, but secured 2 losing bonus points and plenty of lessons to take forward.

An electric performance from Charlie as the Rhinos came away with a great win against Colchester 4’s.

Well done to both boys — fully deserved! 🔵⚪️

Many thanks to PE Solutions for sponsoring yesterdays award 👏🏻
