Congratulations to our April runner of the month - Najma Sudhozai 🌟❤️🏃♀️
Nominations given included:
-Ran 10k with a PB, even though she had hurt her ankle and was running on pain killers. Has been improving all the time.
-Najma has been consistent with her running this month. She had an injury and still managed to do a 10k and get a PB.
-Her commitment to her running since doing the 0-5k and joining the club has been great but I’ve noticed this even move over recent months where she is attending lots of sessions and then she smashed out a huge 10k PB at the BM10k so deserves this. As well as this she is encouraging others to join the club and is a great asset.
-Focused committed running resulting in PB at Brighton event even with an ankle injury and then turning up for a training session next day!

A big turnout tonight (fortunately the rain stopped just in time!) for our "Run & Talk" sessions tonight in light of Mental Health Awareness Week 💭
We had 3 varying paced sessions with Linda, Anna and Ben. And also our 0-5k programme led by Lee. And special thanks to Linda and Sue for some post run goodies 🍰🍪😋
Lovely to see such a big turnout to raise awareness and get talking all things mental health ❤️

The sun has been shining, the miles have been ticking over, and the energy across all our sessions has been top-tier. Huge thanks to everyone who came out to play!
Here’s a quick look back at what we got up to:
Monday: Our 0-5k legends smashed Week 6, Session 1 with Linda. The finish line is getting closer!
Tuesday: Dan led the charge at Tilgate, keeping everyone on track with some solid 4:30 pacing.
Wednesday: A double-header! Dan took a crew out for the Alpaca run, while Emily guided our 0-5k group through Week 6, Session 2.
Thursday: We hit the Dam for some spicy intervals with Maria. Perfect prep for the weekend!

Another busy week for Crawley Run Crew! ☀️🏃♂️
We kicked things off on Monday with our 0-5k Week 4 Session 1, followed by a brilliant and insightful sports nutrition talk from Bente Smith 🍎💬
Tuesday brought the heat with Build & Burn with Dan 🔥💪
Wednesday kept the momentum going with 0-5k Week 4 Session 2 led by Linda 👟
Thursday we hit Rectory Lane for some sharp intervals with Simon ⚡
Friday rounded things off nicely with our Friday 3 session, again led by Linda 🙌
And of course, the weekend highlight… a parkrun tour to Banstead Woods 🌳🌲 A fantastic turnout and a great course to explore together!
All of this topped off with beautiful weather throughout the week – we’ve been seriously spoiled! 😎☀️
Amazing effort from everyone getting out there, supporting each other, and keeping the good vibes going 💙

Big thank you to Burgess Hill Runners for hosting the brilliant Chicken Run at Macs Farm, Ditchling as part of the West Sussex Fun Run League! 🐔☀️
What a day! Sunshine, smiles, and a whole lot of clucking as our crew weaved their way through the chicken enclosures in some seriously impressive fancy dress. From full-on feathered fits to creative takes on the theme, you all absolutely delivered 🙌
Huge thanks again to everyone at Burgess Hill Runners for putting on such a memorable race!

☀️ Crawley Run Crew – Week Round-Up (+ 1 day) 🏃♂️🏃♀️
What a stretch of running it’s been! With beautiful weather all week and those lighter, longer evenings finally here, it’s felt like spring has properly arrived 🌿
Here’s what we’ve been up to over the past 8 days:
Monday: Tilgate Social led by Maria & Simon
Thursday: Pendulum Hills with Stephen & Henry
Sunday: Easter Morning Trail Run (13K) with Will & Dan 🐣
Monday (today): CRC representing at the West Sussex Fun Run League race hosted by Lewes AC 🙌
From social miles to hill efforts, trail adventures to race day energy, it’s been an incredible mix, and so great to see so many of you out making the most of the conditions.

A BUSY week for Crawley Run Crew! 🔥🏃♂️🏃♀️ (first update in a while, I'm SORRY!)
We kicked things off on Monday with a chilled Ifield social run led by Shelley. The perfect way to ease into the week and catch up with the crew.
Tuesday brought the burn 💪 with Strength & Conditioning at Witness the Fitness gym. Strong bodies = strong runners!
By Wednesday, it was time to turn up the pace with interval training on a new route led by Linda and Dan. Short, sharp, and effective.
Thursday kept the momentum going with a tough but rewarding track session: 3 x 6-minute continuous efforts. Big shoutout to Dan for pushing everyone to dig deep!
We wrapped up the week in the best way on Friday — celebrating Eid with 3k & 6k runs followed by some seriously tasty snacks 🎉🍴 Thank you Linda and Dan for leading such a special session!
Amazing energy all week. Whether you came for the miles, the sweat, or the snacks, it’s the people that make this crew what it is ❤️

On Tuesday we had our first Strength & Conditioning class at Witness The Fitness 😍💪. Great way to build core strength and mininise risk of injury. Massive thanks to Chrissy for a great session!
