Back-to-back champions 🏆

Team Croydon has successfully defended its Better Club Games title, bringing home gold for the second consecutive year. What an achievement from our fantastic residents!

Our incredible team of residents represented Croydon across 11 sports, competing against teams from across London, the Southeast and the Midlands before bringing the trophy home once again.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, supported their teammates and helped make this achievement possible.

Last night we celebrated the incredible talent across Croydon at the GLL Sport Foundation Awards 🎉

A record 140 local athletes will be supported this year, with over £100k of investment helping them train, compete and achieve their ambitions.

From rising stars to elite performers, it was inspiring to see the dedication, passion and community spirit on show 💪

Congratulations to all of this year’s recipients – we’re proud to support your journey!
