Palacerigg Field Archers will be hosting a come and try event on Saturday 26th September from 10:00am - 12:00 noon, this is part of the Tryst open day.

If you are looking for a sport which is relaxing, go at your own pace, can do indoors as well as gets you outdoors then when not come along and try Archery, we will be in the main hall in the Tryst sports centre between 10:00 - 12:00 noon on Saturday 26th September. You can start Archery from the age of 9 years old and more information will be available on the day.

Just to let everyone know there will be NO club shoot on Saturday 26th September this is due to the Tryst Sports center having an open day, where people can come any try different sports.

Just to inform club members that indoor sessions at Tryst Sport Centre will start again on Saturday 5th September at 10am.
Hopefully, more members will use this facility throughout winter as we move into indoor season. The more the merrier needed to keep Tryst financially viable to the club.

Our final classification shoot of 2026 was a Field Round. As normal at Palacerigg, it rained early on, but thankfully went off before start and stayed off for remainder of day.
Thanks for the same dedicated few, who travelled to compete this morning 🙏 Your dedication and support of this club is appreciated.
Thanks also to our Secretary Audrey Smith, who got out of a sick bed to help kick us off today. Also to club work party who turned up during last week to prepare the course for this morning. Your continued help is invaluable. 🙂

It’s already posted on club WhatsApp page, but just in case, repeating it on here.
There is a Work Party request at the course on Sunday 9th August. This is basically to tidy up for our Field Classification shoot on the following Sunday, 16 August. Bit of strimming, litter picking or butt checking required, or Derek may even start rejigging the practice area, if enough help turns up.
Thanks in advance if you volunteered already, or are able to spare a couple of hours on Sunday 😉

Anyone missing a size L black half zip jacket with fleece in the inside from Sunday. I have just opened the boot of my car and found it. It would be someone who has put their stuff at the back of where I was sitting as it must have got lifted with all the stuff

Today's Hunter round was quality over quantity. Not a massive turn out but a great day for those who did.

Just to remind everyone we have a Hunter Classification Shoot coming up on Sunday 7th June. You can book through the SFAA website or message me through this page or email [email protected].

We will have Tea, Coffee, soft drinks, sweets, crisps and cake on sale on the day.

Looking forward to seeing as many of the club members. This is a great day and for any new members is a great way to see round the course if you have not been fully round the course.
