We are super excited to be welcoming Grumpy Ass Ben to Shelley CC this coming Friday night as the Stingrays enjoy an end of season get together 💚🏏 Bar 1871 open as usual from 6 pm .. Saturday we again have a private function and Sunday we are open from 4 pm with the quiz from 6 pm .. please support us as we start to raise funds for the FREE bonfire and fireworks 7 th November 🙏🤞 lots still happening so watch 👀 this space as more exciting news to come xx

Plans for October .. we plan on opening Saturday 24 th October for the senior presentation evening and you are of course welcome to attend as we celebrate 2026 season.. pie and pea supper for those that want it but please do get in touch prior to this date to book !
Sunday 25 th October is quiz night and harvest auction .. we rely on the proceeds from our harvest to make the bonfire and firework event ‘free’ for all the community so please come along and support us 💚🏏 any donations of vouchers, produce or anything else you can gift us will be appreciated xx

There is a private function in the bar this evening so it isn’t open to the general public Thankyou xx

Bar 1871 is open starting tonight from the slightly later time of 6 pm as we move through the winter months .. tonight is also junior presentation 💚🏏 so the bar will be busier than normal with pizza and trophies from around 7.30 pm .. your patience is appreciated 🙏🤞 come and celebrate the next generation of cricketers at Shelley cc xx

Approaching quicker than we know .. our Free Bonfire and fireworks display will take place Saturday 7 th November .. we are now accepting donations of wood ideally pallets or decking boards by arrangements .. please do not turn up and ‘dump’ anything at the cricket club without getting in touch first .. we are not accepting garden waste such as bushes or branches xx

Two further cricket matches happening this week 💚❤️🏏 Shelley Stingrays will be playing against Denby Dale CC ladies tomorrow night Bar 1871 open from 6 pm and Wednesday we have Yorkshire over 60’s/70’s combined team using our facilities against The Forty Club Bar 1871 open from 2.45 pm .. 🤞🙏 for the weather which looks to be holding xx
