Our annual pre-season clash against Huddersfield Town XI is almost here!

In recent years, Town have come out on top, but the lads will be looking to turn the tide and put in a strong performance against a talented young side.

Get yourself down to watch some of Huddersfield Town’s future stars alongside our Shelley squad as we continue our preparations for the new season.

It’s that time of the year again and after 12 months of recovery post the last one, the old boys meet again. 👨‍🦳👴👨‍🦳👴

We have also added a junior game to the day!! ⚽️⚽️

We are now looking to raise as much money as we can for the chosen charity/club and would welcome any businesses that would like to sponsor the day or a player. Last years players of the match Curt and Pav return and hope to reclaim their titles.

The 21s will line up against some very good opposition again this season, in the Worksop Van Hire North Midlands Development Football League.

We played at some great grounds last season and the standard of competition was high.

There’s new opposition in Parkgate FC who have entered the league as well as trips to Athersley, Dinnington, Handsworth, Sheffield FC, Swallownest, Thorncliffe and the short trip to Pen*stone.

Home games will be Thursday evenings, under the lights, at the newly named Graham Leslie Arena. Look out for the fixtures shortly with the league commencing August 13th.

We are looking for players to join our Huddersfield District League team, playing in Division 2, under the management of Chris Calvert and Ryan Harvey.

We are keen to hear from parents of players who will be school years 2, 6 and 8 to boost our u7, u11 and u13 squads.
