Just checked the calendar at Pump’n’Paddle and it’s SIX WEEKS UNTIL WE START OUR FIRST RACE!!!!



That’s still plenty of time to enter 😀
Each event is £30 and that’s a full day of fun on the water with a 5km distance race, a shorter technical and sprint heats.

Each entry gives you a chance to win a gorgeous carbon paddle from our friends at Blackfish Paddles

Inflatable boards only, and you don’t need a raceboard to enter - we have three board classes to choose from.

Enter all three event and get a Pump’n’Paddle T-shirt for free (entries must be booked this month to get your T-shirt at the first race)

Dates are

Race 1:
Saturday 30th May at Foremark reservoir (Burton Sailing Club)

Race 2:
Sunday 14th June at Bartley Green reservoir (Bartley Sailing Club)

Race 3:
Saturday 18th July at Pitsford reservoir (Northampton Sailing Club)

Pitsford will also host a Junior event for under 16's alongside the main races.

The countdown is on, and things are shaping up for a weekend to remember at Burton Sailing Club, ForemarkReservoir. This year:

🎶 The band is booked, get ready to dance and celebrate after the laps

🍔 The barbecue is fired up, fuel your body after each lap.

🍹 The bar is ready, because we’re fueled by cheers, high-fives, and cold drinks.

🏕 Camping is available on-site Friday & Saturday night at Burton Sailing Club, stay close to the action

All that’s missing is you, your partner, your crew, ready to take on every lap and push through the thrill of the Eliminator.

💥 Head-to-head. Wild laps. Strategy. Make memories, claim bragging rights, and own the weekend.

We have some kit stolen from Derbyshire Scouts Paddle Sports Active Support Unit. Two large Peak UK centre vests and two Blue Itiwit SUP paddles. Can you share and asked people to have a look out for them. The BAs are marked Derbyshire Scouts. Please share any information for the recovery with [email protected]

⚠️ River Trent Safety Alert ⚠️

We have been informed that a pylon has recently collapsed along the River Trent between Swarkestone and Kings Mills.

Cables are currently in the water, and a barrier has been installed above the cables to prevent boats from passing through this area.

Please avoid this section of river and share with local clubs and paddlers who frequent this area.

We are working to obtain further details and will provide updates via PaddlePoints when available.

If anyone is around Matlock today, Lodestone Leashes are at Artists Corner until 3pm demoing their quick release leashes.
They’re not just White Water leashes, they can also be used on flat water.
And unless you’re surfing, a quick release waist leash is strongly recommended.
