TRAINING DETAILS

🐾 Aimed at Grades 6–7, although all levels are welcome
⏰ Group start times: 08:30 & 10:30
⏱️ 4 hours of training — 2 hours in the morning + 2 hours in the afternoon

As the colder, darker and wetter months approach, demand for our indoor arena hires increases significantly.

Joining during this window means you can start getting your winter training dates in the diary now. If you're thinking about joining but leave it until the next joining window, you could potentially miss out on some of the October and November hire availability you want.

Our memberships are designed to give you regular, reliable access to quality training facilities throughout the year — but they're especially valuable when the British weather starts doing what it does best! ☔️

We’re really pleased to welcome Summer Clark to Dog Sports Derby for a series of training dates this October, November and December.

Our Silver, Gold and Emerald members currently have priority booking, with the remaining spaces opening next week to all DSD members, including Access, Bronze, Silver, Emerald and Gold.

Summer brings a huge amount of experience as both a competitor and trainer:

Bronze Medal Finalist at the European Open 2025
Team GB handler
Agility Champion with her current competing dog, Arrow
YKC Agility Dog of the Year winner at Crufts 2024
Competed at Crufts for 10 consecutive years

Summer is known for her consistency, positive attitude and honest, thoughtful approach to training. She focuses on understanding why something is or isn’t working, helping handlers build reliable skills and giving you plenty to take away and continue working on after the session.

We really value the judges and trainers who support events and training at Dog Sports Derby, so we’re introducing an additional benefit for those who work with us regularly.

If you judge at least two DSD events per year, or teach for us on at least two occasions per year, we’ll include your DSD Access Membership for 12 months, completely free of charge.

You’ll still be paid as normal for your judging or teaching — the complimentary membership is simply an additional thank you for being part of and supporting DSD.

Your Access Membership gives you access to book training, events, venue hire and everything else available through Dog Sports Derby.

Judge or teach for DSD twice a year = 12 months Access Membership included.
