✅ Yes we are quite easy to get to, on the crossroads of A38 & A50 (25mins from Nottingham / just 10 mins from Uttoxeter) 🚘

✅ Yes we have our own merchandise store (I mean who doesn’t like merch 🥰)

✅ Yes we have an active social media account (over 1 million views and 122k likes on TikTok alone ) 👀

✅ yes we do ask you if have played football before, we are a Division 1 side, and although we offer training , we need players with a bit of experience 👵🏼

❌ No we are not saying “open trials” if after a few weeks you like us and the feelings mutual then let’s talk 🗣️

🥳 Hilton Harriers 1-0 Stapenhill Ladies 🥳

That’s a wrap for Hilton Ladies 25/26 season, ending with a 1-0 win against Stapenhill Ladies securing promotion to Division 1! 🍾

Our Ladies travelled to Stapenhill today, looking for a win or a draw to finish the job and see ourselves into division one for next season! 💥 Although beating Stapenhill very early into the season we knew it’d be a challenge as they have improved massively throughout the season 🤜🏻

First half at times we saw Stapenhill on top, they were a strong physical side and had two players up top which is something Hilton weren’t used to playing against this season! They challenged us going forward but Hilton’s defence dug deep and kept them at bay! ⚽️
We then managed to settle into the game, driving forward to create chances but were unlucky hitting the woodwork a couple of times! 🥅 The first half ended 0-0!

Second half we came out a different team! 🤩 you could tell we wanted the win and we turned the tempo up! 💥 We were on top of our performance for most of the half, creating a lot of chances and driving forward as a team 🧡 Stapenhill were still battling and putting pressure on us and at this point the game was level playing and it could of been anyone’s 💪🏼 In the 83rd minute we saw a ball from Molly to our winger Megan who drove forward and scored a worldly 🌎
The scenes were mega, every single player on and off the pitch came on the celebrate and it was the moment of the season! 🥲🥰 We had to quickly switch back on the finish the game but the excitement was real, and we fought until the very end to get the WIN! 💪🏼🍾🥳

Massive shoutout the Stapenhill who were one of the nicest teams we’ve played this season! 👏🏼

⭐️ Gabs - kept their left winger in check lead by example a real captain’s performance, wore her heart on her sleeve, knew how much this result meant to the team!

⭐️ Mawbs - anchored the midfield and was excellent at breaking up play. Her positional sense was outstanding, and she stepped up massively in a game when we needed her most

A somewhat disappointing result vs Sleetmoor this afternoon as we struggled to find the win, even though we dominated most of the game! 😬

It’s still positive 🤩 If we win our final game vs Stapenhill we still find ourselves promoted to Div 1! So the dream isn’t over but it does all come down to the final fixture 👀

Hilton were the stronger team throughout the game, gaining possession and getting forward as a unit but we just couldn’t find the end product unfortunately 🥅

Hilton’s back four were unbelievable this afternoon who stopped Sleetmoor in their tracks, especially Meadow our CB who had her best game of the season pulling out some unreal tackles and sweeping up when needed 💪🏼

Midfield worked hard, controlling the middle of the park and putting some great balls across to our wingers who bombed forward to create an attack 🏃🏻‍♀️ Molly our CM also had her best game of the season, she was strong on the ball and was solid in tackles 🤜🏻

Our striker got on top of every ball passed through to her, however we were so unlucky not to score today as we had some great chances, but it was just one of them days! 🤷🏻‍♀️

⭐️ Meadow - Solid at the back and really fought for the team!

The fight continues next week we have a gap and then we are away to Stapenhill for our final game of the season! 📅
