🎾🌟 Our junior club member William, who, while working hard as a ball boy at the Nottingham Open last week, took on a special challenge to support Ottilie’s Neuroblastoma Journey.

Between matches, William set out to collect signatures from as many players as possible to create a unique fundraising prize.
Thanks to his determination, he secured signatures from some of the tournament's biggest names, including this year's champions:
🎾 Marie Bouzkova – Ladies' Singles Champion
🎾 Christopher O'Connell – Men's Singles Champion
🎾 Harriet Dart & Maia Lumsden – Ladies' Doubles Champions 🇬🇧

William also collected signatures from some of Britain's top players, including Katie Boulter, Jacob Fearnley and Jay Clarke, as well as international stars Karolina Pliskova and Leah Fernandes, and many more players from both the ATP and WTA fields, making this a truly unique piece of Nottingham Open memorabilia!

Richie Williams Charity Tennis Day ❤️🎾

It was so lovely to have Becky back at the club, despite the sad circumstances.

The courts were full of energy and enjoyment, just as Richie would have liked!

We are deeply saddened to share the news that Richie Williams passed away last week following a short illness.

Richie was one of life’s truly kind souls — the nicest, most encouraging man you could ever hope to meet. He always had time for everyone, offering support, positivity and a warm smile whenever it was needed. His presence lifted people, and his kindness left a lasting mark on all who knew him.
Richie seemed to be able to remember everyone’s name who he came into contact with.

He will be greatly missed by all at Repton Tennis & Rackets club.

Our thoughts, love and deepest condolences are with his daughter Becky, wife Kim, and all of Richie’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.

Rest in peace, Richie ❤️
