There are partnerships that make commercial sense.

Today we want to introduce you to someone we’re immensely proud to have as part of the HUUB family, Sam Holness.

Sam isn’t looking for sympathy. He’s chasing something far bigger.

His ambition is to become a professional triathlete, overcoming all the barriers put in front of him.

It’s a goal many would consider impossible. But if there’s one thing you’ll quickly learn about Sam, it’s that he has spent his entire life proving people wrong.

Diagnosed with autism at the age of three and non-verbal until he was six, his family were told to set low expectations for what his future might hold.

Instead, Sam earned a Sports Science degree, became the first autistic athlete to complete the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona, earned a Guinness World Record, and continues to push himself every single day in pursuit of becoming a professional triathlete.

His story isn’t about autism.
It’s about determination.
It’s about refusing to accept limits that other people place upon you.

A new documentary, Sam Holness – A Beautiful Mindset, created by the team at Maurten, who like HUUB proudly support Sam, offers a rare behind-the-scenes look at Sam’s daily life, his relationship with his father and coach Tony, and the relentless commitment it takes to chase a dream that many would never dare pursue.
