With the Road America Carrera Digital weekend still strong in the memory banks we have but a week to go until our next event at New Zealand’s 145’11” Ruapuna Raceway.

Our first evening there was on 17Mar26 where we had three different winners, Martin Thorpe and Steve White taking the two 15-minute Endurance Races with Victor de Olveira taking the 5-minute Sprint Race win.

Based on the length of this track the standard fuel usage per lap will be 10% and based on the average of the last three 6th fastest laps plus 0.200 seconds the extra 25% fuel consumption will click in at 10.200 seconds.

We currently have a full grid of 30 racers with only José Borges and Liam Smith Standing Down as we have four racers who can’t attend the South Island event. We also have Ian Cowlishaw and Daryl Russell as our Reserves. All four will currently run in the 5-minute Sprint Race which we will run no later than 8pm, so they can leave early if required.

If anyone’s circumstances change, please let us know as soon as possible, preferably before Race Day, so we can let the Stand Down and Reserve Racers know.

See you soon.

Please find attached the updated Carrera Digital Ranking, Could be Won’t be and the Step Down Charts following the 9 Race Road America Weekend.

Re the Ranking Chart Andrew Staniec was the biggest mover up a staggering 17 places to 17th! Congrats Andrew.

The Could be Won’t be chart shows which Group the 36 Tuesday night racers would be in should all 36 racers be available, which has never happened.

The Stand Down chart shows which 30 racers are racing both 15-minute Endurance Races and the 5-minute race at Ruapuna on 13Oct26. Those Standing Down or on the Reserve List can still race in the 5-minute Sprint Race.

We are pretty sure these will change as we get closer to the race.

Please also find attached the HO Final Challenge Championships after Pukekohe.

Adults - The 2026 season is being dominated by Reuben Litherland (left) and Lee Pateman with former now taking the lead from the latter in the Final Challenge thanks to his 5.0 Final points to Lee’s 2.0 changing a deficit of 0.5 points to a lead of 1.5 points.

Reigning Champion Lewis Blacker also took home 5.0 points reducing his gap to Lee to 4.0 points.

Juniors - Again the top three weren’t on the grid so Jenson Woodhouse continues to lead Luca Whittaker by 1.5 points with Charlie Youart 10.5 points behind Luca.

Please find attached the main HO Championships after Rounds 28 and 29 at Pukekohe.

Note: With 37 Rounds in 2026 the 75% rule means 28 Rounds will count. Now that we have reached Round 29 those who have completed all Rounds will have their worst score removed.

Adults - While Championship leader Reuben Litherland (pictured) failed to add to his tally of 11 wins this year he did finish second in both F1 & GC. However, with second placed Lee Pateman winning a thrilling F1 race by a mere 6” over Reuben and then taking third in GC, he has reduced the gap from 78 to 64 points.

Angus Smith in third took two podiums, reducing the deficit to Lee from 177 to 157 points thanks to both Lee & Reuben losing their worst score.

Juniors - With none of the top three in attendance at Pukekohe Jenson Woodhouse continues to lead Luca Whittaker by 134 points with a further 155 points the gap to Charlie Youart in third.

Masters - Nick Sismey holds strong at the top despite not taking a win in New Zealand, with Final winners Stuart Gray and Angus Smith leapfrogging the absent Gordon Reynolds, who was in second, to go 12.5 and 13.0 points behind our leader, who dropped his worst score, with Gordon closely behind 13.5 points back.

Early Parents - Jim Crunden was the only attendee, so Andrew Woodhouse stays atop the pile by 62 points ahead of Steve Whittaker, who attended but stayed for the Adult Finals, with Jim reducing the gap to Steve from 105 to 69 points.
