Stocksbridge Limousins

The Stocksbridge herd of pedigree Limousins, owned by John and Lynne Cardwell and based in Haywood, near Doncaster.

There has been a suckler herd at Church Farm since the 1980s. The commercial herd was comprised of 70 Belgian Blue cross cows running with a Limousin bull. In 2004 John and Lynne decided to split the numbers and established a herd of 35 pedigree Limousin females alongside a similar number of Belgian Blue cross females.
