Ye Olde Knowle Bowling Club

What a fantastic afternoon at Ye Old Knowle Bowling club!
We had the pleasure of hosting the home leg of the Ladies' County championships semi-final, with Warwick and Worcester facing Yorkshire.
There were some closely fought games, and some wonderful bowling on display, but ultimately Yorkshire proved to be the better team on the day.
The bar was open, our BBQ was busy and the home made cakes went down a treat. Many thanks to those of our member volunteers who helped to make it a very enjoyable event

Yesterday afternoon we welcomed flat green bowlers from Leamington who were keen to try out the 'other' bowls game!
They later joined our members for drinks and BBQ food on our patio - a great evening.

This year's Hotchkiss Tankard competition was closely contested by Steve Blight and David Green in the final, with David emerging the victor.

Today we celebrated the beginning of a sponsorship partnership with Avery Healthcare, and welcomed Nicola, their representative from Birchmere House, for the presentation of a new banner and a cup of tea with some of our members.

'Shirley Late Knights' (former Round Table members) recently enjoyed an evening get together at the club, making good use of the bar and tucking into fish and chips whilst also participating in games of 'Killer' on the top green.
A good time was had by all!

Our first BBQ Night of the season, with some friendly bowling thrown in.
