It has been our absolute privilege to have taught you both for so long.

The children you assisted will always adore you. You gave them wonderful memories, built their confidence, and encouraged them every step of the way. You have both made such a positive difference to so many young dancers.

Lynne and I have watched you grow from young dancers into the confident, talented and inspiring young women you are today. Now you’re ready to begin your degree course with Hamilton, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Like all the students who have gone before you, it’s never goodbye… it’s simply see you later.

Keeping in touch is essential! We expect updates, photos, and plenty of visits whenever you have the time.

Remember, once a TDA dancer, always a TDA dancer.

Good luck with this exciting new chapter. Go and be fabulous – we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way. ❤️

Having the confidence to move into the next class up… and then showing the most beautiful gallops a teacher could dream of seeing! 🥰

Coming in with your bestie, whose words were, “I’m so nervous I could melt!” 😂

I just LOVE the drama of being 5/6 years old! 💚

Both, I might add, did a truly remarkable job of joining in, and I have absolutely no doubt they will relish the challenge of their new class.

** FLASH BACK SCHEDULE **

As I get ready to start back with our NEW Acro class, along with a few little tweaks to the timetable, it’s got me thinking back to a schedule I had many, many years ago…

Monday – to Kirkcaldy, Adam Smith
Tuesday – Baldridgeburn, Dunfermline
Wednesday – Beaconhurst Private School in the morning, then off to Lumphinnans Primary School at night.
Thursday – Edinburgh to teach ballet, then Scottish Show at the Carlton at night.
Friday – High Valleyfield
Saturday – Edinburgh for ballet & tap, then Scottish Show in Edinburgh that night.
Sunday – Scottish Show, Edinburgh.

And do you know what?

I LOVED IT! ❤️

And how lucky am I that I’m still teaching some of you who were there way back in those early days.

So many memories, so many dancers.

Forever grateful for the journey — and very happy, settled and content in our home at Limelight Studio. 💚

A new dance term is about to begin, and I can’t wait to see you all back.
