Sunday Friendly in the Rain ☔️ 🤝

With no league business due to our game being postponed it was friendly action for us today to
Keep us ticking over.

The first half was contested in some poor conditions, and we struggled to get up and running with our football.

At half-time, it was time for a reset and a better start. However, we would fall behind after some hesitation allowed our opponents to take advantage and score a well-taken goal.

From there, we settled into the game and started playing some better football, first getting ourselves level before going ahead.

Both teams were going for it right until the end, but we would add a third to secure the win. ⚽️💪

A good response in difficult conditions. 👏

Match Day 3 ⚽️

A midweek trip to play away in the league for the Blacks tonight ⚽️

The boys defended well and competed well in the first half, but would concede in the last minute to go in 1-0 down at the break.

Second half, we showed much better attacking intent early on and had some good moments going forward.

East Fife would then get on top, though, and we didn’t deal with their threat anywhere near well enough as they cut us open too easily adding gloss to the scoreline.

A goal gave the boys a way back into the game, but unfortunately we weren’t able to kick on from there.

Credit to our opponents for their determined performance and best of luck to them this season.

Game week 2 ⚽️

A slow start for the boys today and we didn’t look like ourselves early doors.

A positive reaction later in the half and a hugely better second half performance, got us back level and we should have been ahead in the game. We’d concede late on.

A few big decisions didn’t go our way but that’s football.
