But this is about so much more than today’s result. ❤️

Just three years ago, we were struggling to field a full team. Fast forward to today, and we’ve grown so much as a club. From those difficult days to drawing against Hove and now securing a win against Burgess Hill, the progress we’ve made is incredible.

Words genuinely cannot describe how proud we are of this team, the commitment, the determination, and every single person who has played a part in getting us here. Every training session, every tackle, and every person who has pulled on an Eastbourne shirt has helped build something special. A big thank you to this years sponsors as well🫶

But the hard work doesn’t stop here. This is just the beginning. We’ll keep pushing, keep growing, and keep proving what Eastbourne Women are capable of. Sound like something you might be interested in? Give us a message!

Here’s to how far we’ve come and everything still to come. 💛💙

🏉 22–22. WHAT. A. GAME.

The first game of the season is done and what a way to kick things off! 🔥

After going into the break behind, the girls dug deep in the second half, clawing it all the way back and not conceding a single point in the last half.

A proper nail-biter from start to finish! 💪🏼

🌹🏉 WE SUPPORT THE RED ROSES.

Last year, the Red Roses won the Women’s Rugby World Cup, beating Canada 33–13 in front of a record 81,885 fans at Twickenham.

And it wasn’t just the people inside the stadium watching…

📺 5.8 MILLION people watched the World Cup final across BBC TV and streaming — making it the most watched women’s rugby match ever on UK television. The tournament as a whole reached 12 million TV viewers, with 10.5 million streams across BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport.

So today, when the World Cup winning Red Roses take on Canada again, we have to ask…

Why aren’t we seeing them on live terrestrial TV? 🤔

Today’s match is available through BBC iPlayer/BBC Sport and YouTube, rather than being shown live on BBC One or BBC Two. The fixture is officially scheduled for 3pm at Sandy Park, Exeter.

And this isn’t just about the Red Roses.

It’s about all of us.

From the international stage right down to Eastbourne Women’s Rugby. We want to show just how strong women’s rugby is. 💪🏼🌹

We are here. We are playing. We are watching. We are supporting.

So get behind the Red Roses today and let’s show just how many of us are here for women’s rugby. ❤️🏉 Please repost, share and watch the game today. Hopefully we can make the change 🫶

COME ON ENGLAND! 🌹
