A big thank you to Roger and Nita for arranging and running a lovely BBQ yesterday. Rogers grill skill was outstanding. The weather was perfect and all who attended had a great evening

Our ladies played at Hellingly this morning. It started bright and sunny with a breeze. After 11 ends it started to rain. By the time we got our waterproofs on it stopped and the sun came out again. We mainly enjoyed the company and game. One rink won and one lost but we won overall with scores being RSBC 35 and Hellingly 29. Then the rain hammered down!

One extra thing … there are a few bees 🐝 going in and out of a hole in the shed. They are not swarming. No need to swat at them. They will not hurt unless they are threatened.

On Saturday we are having a barbecue from 5pm

Our ladies popped up the road for a league match with Parade Ladies yesterday. The weather was not our friend as they played in howling wind and torrential rain. They battled bravely on for the necessary 12 ends and won on both rinks with the score standing at RSBC 30 and Parade 21. After the game it was off home for a hot shower and well deserved cuppa. Well done Ladies! 👏🏼👏🏼
