On Saturday 20th July we will be having a family fun day with various activities for everyone to enjoy.

The day will run from 12 - 5pm

We will have a bouncy castle from The Edinburgh Event Company and Pop Up Play Village - Lanarkshire will have other activities for children aged 0-8 years old.

We look forward to this being a great day for all of Currie.

What a day! Our first gala day of the season. We had a great time at Livingston Village Primary School and did not stop the whole time we were there. The pirate ship assault course and slide were so popular and the candy floss went down a treat!

We are looking for, enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team for our 2022 season.

Seasonal roles:
We are looking for 4 assistants, this role is ideal for teenagers/students aged 15+

In addition to the assistants, we also require 3 drivers aged 21+ for 20-60hrs per week on a temporary basis.£9.50 per hour

Great rates of pay, uniform provided and the chance to be involved in some great events over the summer. Hours are mainly weekends but the potential for midweek.
You must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and a team player.

Good level of communication skills, Ability to communicate to different people and levels of business. Customer driven, polite, focused, and assertive,

Good time keeping is essential & basic knowledge and practical understanding of Health & Safety

Flexible in attitude & hours of work, early mornings and late nights when required.

Assistants:
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY & FULL TRAINING GIVEN
Drivers: Clean driving license preferable but not essential and over 21 years of age (some exceptions apply)

Last week we had the pleasure of supplying Bumblebee Sports Edinburgh South West and Corstorphine which some activities for their half term camp. Emma runs these every school holiday and we can’t wait to work with her again!

Last night The Edinburgh Event Company dropped off our popcorn warmer with 2 bags of popcorn for the young carers to enjoy. We have donated the machine for a week with enough popcorn to last the 5 nights it’s staying there. The Space is an wonderful facility for 5-25 year olds to have a fun evening with fellow carers their own age. When we talked to Hayley about organising I couldn’t help but think what amazing Little Heroes! So glad we could give them a little treat!
