I haven’t raced a road 10K in nearly three years.

Not because I couldn’t.

But because I stopped enjoying it.

Every race started to feel like I had to prove something - be faster, fitter, better than before.

And honestly, I lost the spark.

This Sunday, I’m trying again.

Less pressure.
More curiosity.

Sometimes running isn’t about proving yourself.
Sometimes it’s just about coming back.

Fife Coastal Path: Aberdour → Kirkcaldy

Besties reunited for the weekend, means it is adventure time!

Fuelled by at the start. Did we have a food stop before we even started, absolutely yes!

Next stop - sold out of their raspberry doughnuts by the time we showed up. But the ladies were fab and created us a new product. Brioche with raspberry jam and a cheeky coffee on the high street.

water & snacks to see us through until we got to Kirkcaldy.

was perfectly on time to bring us back to our starting point + car.

Six hours outside and enjoyed every minute of it.

Cindy’s first half marathon 🏅

Such a huge milestone and a very proud coach moment.

This was built through consistency, patience, strength work, and trusting the process week after week.

A few people asked if I am still coaching after starting my new role in April.

Short answer: yes 🤍
And I am incredibly grateful that a lot of my clients decided to continue the journey with me through online coaching.

The last few weeks have been about rebuilding routines, balancing priorities and finding my feet again.

And honestly, it reminded me that fitness doesn’t need to look 'all or nothing' to matter.

I’m still coaching.
Still running.
Still learning.

Just entering a slightly different chapter.

Training is no longer 'part of the job' every day — it’s become the thing that keeps me grounded again.

And maybe that makes me an even better coach.

Bluebell Trail Race 5km 🏃🏼‍♀️

Life lately 🌷

New chapter, new rhythm.

And a good training routine.
3 gym sessions
2 rides
1 run

with plenty of steps (and coffee) in between.

What a week it's been so far!

Starting into my Monday with a very early gym session. Do I look tired, yes I was but I am a creature of habit.

100% there, my computer was - I am still settling in. A week full of learning. There's a lot of firsts but I am all here for it!

My summer trim has started, meal prep at its finest. is my go to for tracking.

After two AM gym sessions a nice after work cycle with to mix it up. Still freezing and hope spring is now finally here.

Plenty of walks to keep the step count up.

Testing a new gym, a little closer to mine. is the key word for picking your gym.

And my first but certainly not last lunch run in the ☀️
