Commiserations to Danny Burns and Alan Knox, who came agonisingly close in the second round of the National Championships in Ayr today.

They nearly had it in the bag, but the match went right down to the very last bowl and was decided by the tightest of measures. What an unfortunate way to go out!

A fantastic performance from Danny and Alan, who did themselves and Seafield proud on the national stage. 👏💙💛

What a day at the National Championships! 💙💛

Our Ladies Rink put in a brilliant fight, producing a great comeback and going into the final end just 2 shots down. It wasn’t quite to be, with the ladies eventually losing 17–12, but a fantastic effort and plenty to be proud of. 👏

Then came the drama from our Gents Pairs! 😮 Danny & Alan forced an extra end and held their nerve to take an incredible 18–17 WIN! 💪🔥

They’re back on the green tomorrow at 9am — best of luck lads, we’re all behind you! 🍀

Our Ladies Fours and Gents Pairs are representing Seafield at the Bowls Scotland National Championships in Ayr from 9am. Best of luck to everyone — enjoy the occasion and do Seafield proud! 💙💛

Then on Sunday, our Ladies are back in action in the EBA Ladies Final, taking on Tanfield at Queensberry at 2pm. Another fantastic achievement for the club. 👏

And, as always, there’s plenty of social bowling throughout the week — come along, get involved and enjoy the game!
