Further to our previous post..

❗️IMPORTANT NOTICE ❗️

In light of the rise in cases of Equine Influenza cases nationwide, please note the following that must be adhered to at all EDRC events.

The instructions below do not vary from both existing competition rules, or biosecurity best practice and we hope should not pose any issue to our members and competitors.

All horses and ponies attending (including any companion ponies/horses) MUST have an up to date passport available for inspection at arrival. Please check EDRC Showing Show schedule and/or BRC rulebook if you are at all unclear on this.

Passports WILL be checked on arrival and no horses can be unloaded prior to this check. Any horses / ponies that do not comply with the passport rules will not be allowed to unload.

Please ensure you have your horses or ponies passport before arriving at the venue.

It is your obligation to make sure your horse or pony has up to date vaccinations (refunds will not be given for non compliance, as this was an existing show rule).

When parking, please keep an adequate distance and keep Horses and Ponies away from each other as much as possible.

Please do not wait around on the walkways by the arenas or bring round any horse or pony that is not ready to warm up/compete.

Do not touch, feed or interact with any horse or pony other than your own and avoid any
unnecessary contact between yourselves and other horses or ponies.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
