We're excited to announce that league schedules for the upcoming season will be released soon, with clubs receiving full details via email later this week.

As many of you know, we've welcomed 8 new teams into the league this season, which is fantastic news for the continued growth of the competition. With this expansion, some divisions and scheduling structures may look a little different from previous years as we work to accommodate the additional teams and ensure a balanced season for everyone.

Throughout the scheduling process, we have done our best to accommodate club requests wherever possible. While we were able to satisfy many of these requests, unfortunately it was not always possible due to the number of teams and other scheduling considerations.

Once the schedules are released, we ask that clubs take some time to review their fixtures. If you identify any significant discrepancies or concerns, please let us know, and we will be happy to look into them.

Thank you for your patience throughout the scheduling process. We can't wait to get the new season underway and are looking forward to seeing all teams in action!

A great weekend all round for Scottish Volleyball, as the Scotland Men’s team finished third at the BVF Invitational Cup in Limerick, Ireland alongside the women's golden triumph!

The undoubted highlight was defeating England in a five-set battle to bring the Carol Russell Trophy back home 🏆 A truly fantastic result for the squad!

Huge congratulations to Luke Shepherd, Max Karlik, Rory Russell, Jan Honzik Zikmund, Thomas Parker and Uzair Nabi on earning their first international caps this weekend. Another huge congratulations to Jonny Black on his first tour as captain!

A special thank you to Jas Orr, who stepped in as coach for the tournament alongside Alistair Galloway. They led the team superbly to this result!

The squad put pen to paper and wrote a limerick from Limerick to mark the occasion:

There once was a team dressed in blue,
Whose volleyball talent just grew.
In Ireland they played,
Left England dismayed,
As Scotland claimed victory true 🏐🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇮🇪

Congratulations to John Swan, who has been selected by FIVB to be the technical delegate for the U17s women World Championships in Santiago, Chile. 2-18 August.
John has many years of experience as a referee, and since retiring from the international game, has used his knowledge to become a supervisor for CEV and FIVB events.

A volleyball technical delegate is the primary official representative in charge of managing the technical conduct, fairness, and overall on-site delivery of a tournament. They oversee the field of play, verify player eligibility, and ensure compliance with international rules.
