Hibernian produced a determined performance on Thursday night to keep their European ambitions firmly in sight. Backed by a passionate travelling support, the Easter Road side showed resilience, discipline and moments of quality against one of Europe's toughest opponents.

While the result leaves Hibs with work still to do, there were encouraging signs from David Gray's side. The players competed with intensity, created chances and never stopped fighting until the final whistle despite facing a club with significant European pedigree.
