Height Club

6 climbers who CAN all belay normally…but it was near the end of the session, so thought we should try different things! 2 different methods here, 1 handsfree, and 1 requiring no harness nor belay device.

3 spaces left for next Monday evening! All safety equipment provided, ropes rigged, and enthusiasm ladled on thick! Pretty venue with wild ponies (if they feel like turning up!). £45pp, other dates available.

Here’s the rest of Si’s Limekilns ab video. Once he undid the sling at the top, we still had a safety backup in place (at the bottom of the rope). Otherwise, there would have been a prusik on the rope (or a second, loose, rope operated by me from the top). Try not to ab without some kind of safety backup.

Great group of confident kids and…very confident mums & friends! We got Blackford to ourselves too :)
