Today is the last time Dr James Robson will be team doctor for Scottish Rugby at Murrayfield after 33 years.
I’ve been hugely privileged to be part of his medical team for the last 17 of them.
He’s been a supporter, mentor, inspiration and friend.
A doctor who cares about the player welfare as if they were his own sons.
Thank you James it has truly been a pleasure and an honour.

😄Does your child's mouthguard still fit?
Has your child lost teeth and/or had new adult teeth grow in recently? Or perhaps they've recently finished orthodontic treatment. Or maybe they've chewed their mouthguard out of shape - we see this a lot!
When they're next preparing for hockey, rugby or whatever their sport of choice is, take a moment to check their mouthguard still fits properly. They should be able to open their mouth without it falling out, breathing and speaking easily, with it fitting snuggly round their teeth. And most importantly, they should still find it comfortable to wear for an hour or two at a time.

We are pleased to say that the practice is now open for emergency and essential care . We have introduced several new measures to protect our patients and ourselves in line with Scottish Government guidance regarding social distancing and enhanced cross infection protocols from professional bodies.

Needless to say the demand for sports mouthguard has fallen off a cliff with the current lack of contact sports being played and consequently the lab is closed for the foreseeable future.
We will be supplying Edinburgh Rugby for the new season however and look forward to slowly returning to normal over the coming months.
