Whether it’s their first-ever pass or they’re already rugby-mad, our minis help young players build confidence, fitness, coordination, teamwork and friendships — one brick at a time.

No experience needed. All abilities welcome. Just bring plenty of energy and a big smile!

This is a message we never wanted to have to write.

For generations, players have pulled on a Forrester jersey, represented this club and helped create the history and friendships that make Forrester RFC what it is today.

Right now, that future is under real threat.

Playing numbers have fallen significantly and, unless things change, we face the very real possibility of having to withdraw our senior men’s team from the league structure.

That would mean, for the first time in our history, Forrester RFC could be without a senior men’s team playing competitive rugby.

We cannot let that happen without fighting for it.

This is a call to every former player who still feels a connection to the club, every player who has drifted away from the game, anyone looking for a fresh start, and anyone who has ever thought about giving rugby a go.

Come back. Come down. Bring a mate. Give it a chance.

We have a new Head Coach and Team Manager ready to rebuild, raise standards and take the team forward — but ultimately, a rugby club needs players.

There are coaches, volunteers, committee members, sponsors, supporters and families who continue to give their time because they believe this club has a future.

Now we need people to help us protect it.

After the summer break, Forrester RFC Mini Rugby returns Monday 17th August | 6pm–7pm.

Open to P1–P7 boys & girls, whether they’ve played before or are picking up a rugby ball for the very first time.

It’s about more than rugby — building confidence, friendships, teamwork and a love for the game in a welcoming club environment.
