Demonburgh is Edinburgh's junior roller derby league offering recreational and competitive roller derby for kids age 7 plus.
We welcome skaters of all abilities! Demonburgh is a registered charity SC053217 Demonburgh trains Fridays (term-time) at Broughton High School, please message for a free trial session! We have loaner kit available for new skaters.
🔥Demonburgh Rookies: 6:00-7:30pm
No experience necessary - all beginner and L1 skaters learn at their own pace
👹 Demonburgh Team: 7:30-9.00pm
Our L2 and L3 skaters develop their skills and game play

That's a wrap for Demonburgh - we are now off for summer! ☀️
A sad goodbye to these two OG Demonburgh legends who are ageing-out: Block Sabbath and Tornado. We will miss you both loads. We hope to see you on a track soon - show those adults what junior roller derby brings to our sport!

Demonburgh Scrim Night!
We were thrilled to see our Level 1s in action, and we had some Rookie skaters scrimming at Level 2 for the first time. And our Level 3s rocked!
Everyone brought loads of energy, encouragement and determination to the track.
Awesome work Demonburgh!!

In March 2024, Demonburgh Junior Roller Derby became a SCIO and fully volunteer-run organisation. This Volunteers' Week, we want to shine a light on some very special young people: our Demon-strators 🌟
Our Demon-strators are Demonburgh Team skaters who give up their time to support our Rookies sessions — showing up as skilful skaters, role models and cheerleaders for our future derby Team. They bring energy, patience and a whole lot of heart to everything they do.
We're also thrilled to be supporting our Demon-strators through the Saltire Awards 🏴 - the Scottish Government's award recognising and celebrating the incredible contribution of young volunteers across Scotland. We think our Demon-strators deserve every bit of that recognition!
Thank you to our incredible Demon-strators, and to every single volunteer who makes Demonburgh a place worth showing up for. 🖤🏳️🌈⚡

What a day!
We are so proud of our Demonburgh skaters today - amazing teamwork and a whole lot of heart. Our good pals Newcastle Junior Roller Derby UK made us work hard, thank you so much for putting a great game on for us.
We were lucky enough to be joined by the brilliant Sully on bench. And we had THE BEST cheer squad thanks to our fabulous family and friends!
