What an awesome day in Cardiff! π΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ Ώ π
Exeter Eagles took 14 competitors and 2 referees to Cardiff to represent the club at the Welsh Championships, and we couldnβt be prouder of everyone involved. From competitors, to referees, to supporters cheering from the sidelines β you all played a part in making it such a fantastic day β€οΈ
It was a tough competition, but every student stepped onto the mats with confidence, courage, and determination. Whether you came home with a medal or not, you should all be incredibly proud of the way you conducted yourselves and supported one another throughout the day π

And finally, a last-minute decision on the day saw instructors Miss Searle, Mr Cheriton & Mr Osborne-Whiting enter Team Patterns together β coming away with bronze after a play-off π₯ A brilliant way to round off a fantastic day!
Things begin to quieten down a little now in the club calendar, giving everyone a chance to rest, recharge, and reflect on what has been an incredibly busy and successful few weeks before setting some new goals and pushing forward again πͺπ₯

π₯ THE WELSH CHAMPS LINE-UP IS HERE π₯
This Sunday, Team Exeter heads to Cardiff for one of our favourite competitions of the year β the Welsh Championships π₯
After a huge few weeks of gradings, Black Belt success, and lots of hard work in training, weβre excited to see our students step onto the mats once again and represent the club πͺπ₯
Good luck to everyone competing this weekend β weβre incredibly proud of you all already. Now itβs time to enjoy the experience, support one another, and give it everything π

π Change of Venue β Wednesday Classes
Just a reminder that from this evening, and for the next 6 weeks, our Wednesday classes will be temporarily moving venue due to West Exe Schoolβs summer exam season.
π New Venue:
Dance Studio, St Lukeβs C of E School, Pinhoe
β° Same time: 6:00β7:00pm
Weβll be back training at West Exe from Wednesday 8th July π

What an incredible weekend for the club! π₯π₯
We wrapped up another fantastic colour belt grading β and this one was extra special, with an amazing 33 students stepping up to earn their next belt π
Every single student showed determination, confidence, and the rewards of all the hard work theyβve been putting in over the last few months. Seeing so many students grading together and supporting one another made the day even more special, and we couldnβt be prouder of everyone involved πͺ

And a special mention to Ela for receiving the grading award this time β an absolutely incredible achievement π
We were also extremely proud to witness Laila being presented with her Black Belt certificate by Grand Master Dew. A really special moment to round off what has already been an incredible few months for her β we couldnβt be prouder! π€π₯
And the busy period doesnβt stop thereβ¦ This Sunday, students will be travelling to Cardiff to compete at the Welsh Championships π΄π₯

A quick update β tonightβs class (and next Wednesday) will not be at West Exe.
Weβll be training at the Sports Hall, ISCA Academy (Earl Richards Road South, Exeter, EX2 6AP) instead π
Please try to make it as we build up to pre-grading β If you canβt make it, try to get along to Mr Thomasβs class tomorrow evening at St Lukeβs.
