Cotley Hunt Pony Club

We had five riders yesterday representing Cotley at Dunster Country Fair.

Our Assisted team rode brilliantly to come 3rd, while another of our riders competed in a mixed Junior team with Devon and Somerset, who finished 4th.

Everyone had great fun and came home dusty, tired and happy! 😁

A huge thank you to all our fantastic Cotley volunteers who gave up their Wednesday evening to help flag and number the cross-country course ahead of this weekend’s Tetrathlon and Hunter Trial. There was plenty of hard work, lots of teamwork, and even a few laughs along the way!

Events like this simply wouldn’t happen without the support of our wonderful members and families, and we are incredibly grateful for everyone’s efforts.

We can’t wait to welcome competitors, supporters and volunteers this Saturday and Sunday for what promises to be a fantastic weekend. Good luck to everyone taking part! 🐎🍀

A great Mounted Games rally on Monday after school. The kids all tried super hard and the ponies (mostly) played ball.

Our teenage members had a great morning training with Emilie Labrousse, building confidence, developing their riding and putting new skills into practice.

We love seeing our older members enjoying their ponies, supporting one another and continuing to challenge themselves at every rally. 💚❤️

With a large and active Triathlon and Tetrathlon team at Cotley, from Beanies right through to Seniors, it’s wonderful to see younger children inspired to join in and have a go.

We can’t wait to see them coming home with rosettes this year! 🏅💚❤️

Mounted Games weekends are about so much more than competition — they’re about confidence, friendships, teamwork and children simply loving their ponies. It was lovely to see members from different clubs cheering each other on, making new friends and having so much fun together.

A huge well done to all of our riders and ponies who represented Cotley brilliantly all weekend… and we have to admit, they scrubbed up pretty smart too 👀🥳

Thank you to everyone who helped, supported, organised and cheered from the sidelines — these weekends don’t happen without you 👏

We absolutely love these evenings and the brilliant community that comes with them ☀️

Lots of fantastic effort, determination and team spirit throughout the day, with some brilliant individual results too 🥈
