Junior Summer Sailing Weeks are back ⛵
Looking for something brilliant for the kids this summer?
Our Junior Summer Weeks start from 20th July, with 5 days of sailing, fun and confidence-building on the water. Courses run each week through the summer holidays and are suitable for complete beginners through to improving sailors.
Beginners can work towards RYA Stage 1 & 2, learning the basics, crewing, tacking and helming under supervision.
More experienced juniors can progress through Stage 3 & 4, building the skills to sail single-handers and double-handers safely and confidently.
There may also be opportunities to complete advanced modules such as Start Racing, Seamanship and Spinnakers, depending on experience, conditions and progress during the week.
No previous experience needed
Minimum age: 8 years
£275 members / £330 non-members
Includes logbook at Stage 1 and certificate on successful completion.
Places are limited, so book early to secure a summer week on the water.

Yesterday we welcomed junior sailors from all over the South West to our beautiful club.
Our Exe Squad all raced brilliantly and had so much fun on the water.
Thank you to all the volunteers and parents that make these events possible, and to RS Sailing for donating the prizes.
Sun, sea and sailing - no better way to spend a Saturday! 😎

It finally feels like summers on the way! Fantastic close racing this evening on a challenging course.

Our Splash nights are for ages 5 and up, all abilities welcome but it’s mainly about having fun on our boats, under the watchful eye of safety boats and instructors.
Parents are welcome to watch from the beach or the club house bar is becoming a very popular option!
Remember…don’t get Lottie wet! (uh oh Lottie, I think you might be getting very wet!) 😝
