PILATES + BALLET = STRING DANCERS

When you know which muscles to use when, how to strengthen them and utilise them, ballet becomes a lot easier.

When hip flexors are tight the pelvis is pulled forward and the glutes can’t engage effectively, and of course, the glutes need to engage (never squeeze) in order for turnout to be achieved.

Save this as a reminder to check your pelvic alignment!
