Airflo’s Micro fly line backing is a Braided Polyester that has an extremely low diameter, low stretch and is 100% rot-proof. The super smooth braided backing sits flat on your fly reel or spool, allowing you to pack as much fly line backing onto your reel as possible. RIO Classic 10ft Sink Tip Set
RIO Classic Sink Tips (formerly known as Replacement Tips) have been the standard tip addition for anglers fishing VersiTip type lines for decades. The 10ft tips have been the perfect choice for Switch rods and double handed rods of 12’ 6” and less, and because they have a gradual front taper to them, offer excellent presentation and turnover of the majority of salmon and sea trout flies. With a wide range of floating and sink rates available, across three different tips sizes - 5/6 (65gr), 7/8 (75gr), and 9+ (85gr), these tips are as effective and deadly as they have always been. For 2026 the intermediate tips are now completely clear in colour, which is a major improvement. Each RIO Classic 10ft Sink Tips has a colour coded sleeve at the back end to ensure fast, easy recognition.
