******THANK YOU FOR EVERYONES SUPPORT*******
So Wee update for everyone
Thank you so much for sharing this post, it's made a massive difference.
Currently the bike has not been found or recovered, although there has been folks been taken in for questioning based on the information that was shared as a result of this post. The Police seem confident that they have apprehended the right people. So we just need to see how that plays out now.

For those of you that know Jamie, you will know he's a vulnerable person with additional needs as many of the volunteers are here at the Charity. he's doing as well as can be expected currently, he does want to thank everyone for there support.

In terms of pre-cautions to stop this from happening, Jamie literary couldn’t have done anything extra.
This bike had 2 trackers (one hidden), both been found and recovered.
The bike is registered with Bike register and is notified as Stolen, it is insured although the lock was also stolen as part of this targetted theft.
The Bike lock is a Platinum level sold secure lock, the highest level of protection, and it took the thieves over 20mins to cut through with angle grinders. A Neighbour heard what was going on and called the Police, but are completely under-resourced and were not able to attend unfortunately.
Jamie also has a sophisticated alarm and monitoring system at his home, this should also have alerted the Police, but it appears to have failed. So there is further action to resolve this.

This has left Jamie all a little shaken, but he is getting the right support from many sides. We are certain that Jamie will be back on an E-bike again, but will take a little time to resolve with the insurance claim etc.

Just to say thank you to everyone's support with this, great to see communities coming together.

***** Stolen EBike*****
So terrible news overnight folks.
Our volunteer Jamie has had his Electric Bike stolen during the night.
Many of you will know Jamie or have seen him about.
His E-bike is his main source of transport and gets him all over the place.

Jamie has also recently lost his Father so this hasn't been a pleasant time for him.

Please share this post and see if we can recover this bike ASAP along with catch the two little thieves who done this!!!.

Police are on way to try get details. But let's see if we can share and get this resolved faster.

See pics, Stolen from the Arthurlie area of Barrhead (Carnock Cresent)Friday 4th September around 2am.
