GEORGE CRAIG TROPHY - Saturday 25th April 2026
A good turnout of our members attended to contest our second trophy of the year and enjoy the warm afternoon sunshine, encouraged by a number of spectators. A lot of good bowls played and the highest up teams who made it to the final were Eric Brand and Martin Moore versus Nicky Moncur and Nat Celino. In an enthralling match, Eric and Martin ran out worthy winners after winning the last end. Congratulations to them and a big thank you to all those who came along today to organise and / or support the players. # Love bowls.

PERCY FRANKS CUP - Saturday 18 April 2026
Our first trophy of the new season took place on an afternoon of lovely sunshine and some heavy rain. On this occasion,last years winner ,Mhairi McLean , had two new partners in Robin MacDonald and Hugh Shields to share the winning picture. Our three oldest members John (86) Terry (90) and Jimmy (93) were there to support the players, and were joined by vice President Eric and seniors rep Harry to celebrate the day. Thank you to all the players and members for your support on the day. # love bowls

SENIORS OPENING DAY - Wednesday 15 April 2026.
A number of our senior members attended to enjoy a number of ends and, despite a brief downpour of rain, a good day was had by all , who then retired to the clubhouse for some food and refreshment . Looking forward to the rest of the season. # love bowls.

LADIES OPENING DAY - Tuesday 14 April 2026
A small but enthusiastic number of members were joined by our President Ian Symington and our ex lady president Mary Tonner (92) for the first day of the new season. The ladies managed a few ends before rain stopped play and thereafter retired to the clubhouse for some food and refreshment. Wishing the ladies all the best for the remainder of the season. bowls

Exciting news! Today Stepps bowling club are delighted to announce we have lodged a planning application with NLC to become Scotlands first year round, all weather outdoor bowling green by adding a roof to cover the existing green.

Last few tickets remaining for Wednesday night! Start the Easter holidays early 💛
